Kent was once again the scene for another month-long Gingerbread Festival!  Dozens of gingerbread creations were set in participating shops in Kent in December.  This year's festival was sponsored by the Kent Chamber of Commerce, Bain Real Estate, Frank Food Co., The Marvelwood School and High Watch Recovery Center

The whole town took part in this sugary sweet celebration. Visitors followed the Gingerbread Walk through town, viewing the imaginative and ingenious gingerbread delights, and then solved the mysterious riddle the Ginger Girls cooked up this year.

The votes were tallied and the favorite creations are:

Grand Prize  -  Brittany Hrabcsak (hosted by RT Facts)
1st place - Susan Allen (hosted by Heron American Craft Gallery)
2nd place -  Sue Haneman (hosted by Silver & Sage Trading)
3rd place-  Tom Doyle (hosted by Foreign Cargo)

Peoples Choice- Estelle Trabucco, Domanie Guerrera, Juliette Trabucco, Celeste Trabucco (hosted by Kent Wine & Spirit)

Most realistic - Christopher Lawrence (hosted by Bain Real Estate)
Most recognizable as a town landmark- Elissa Potts (hosted by Fife ‘n Drum Restaurant)
Most environmentally savvy- Ellen Corsell (hosted by Heron American Craft Gallery)
